Send contact and deal events from HubSpot to Cometly for accurate attribution and reporting.

With the Cometly + HubSpot integration, you can track key CRM events like new contacts, lifecycle stage updates, deal creation, and deal stage progress. These events are automatically attributed inside Cometly, helping you understand which ads and campaigns are driving pipeline and revenue.

Setup Instructions

  1. To get started, go to Events Manager in Cometly and click Create Event. Select HubSpot as the integration, choose a default event or create a new one. Then, on the next screen, you’ll choose your trigger and object, map the data you want to send from HubSpot, and activate the event.
  2. Connect your HubSpot account
  3. Choose a trigger and object
  4. Map it to a Cometly event
  5. Save and activate the integration

Available Triggers

Contact Created

Fires when a new contact is created in HubSpot.
→ Commonly used to track new lead generation.

Contact Property Change

Fires when a selected property on a contact is updated.
→ Commonly used to track lifecycle stage changes (e.g., Lead → MQL → SQL).

Deal Created

Fires when a new deal is created in a selected pipeline and stage.
→ Helps attribute deal creation events back to the original marketing source.

Deal Property Change

Fires when a selected deal property is updated within a specific pipeline and stage.
→ Used for tracking updates like deal amount, priority, or any custom fields.

Deal Stage Updated

Fires when a deal moves to a different stage in the selected pipeline.
→ Perfect for tracking key conversion points like "Opportunity Won" or "Demo Completed".

Deal Closed Won

Fires when a deal is marked as Closed Won in HubSpot.
→ Track revenue-driving conversions tied back to marketing and ad spend.
